We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at LVH. The staff and management were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was very clean, and the decor style was very well done. The kids loved the pool, and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The temperatures of each were just right. Many of the main sightseeing locations (Fort Mackinac, Grand Hotel, etc.) were in walking distance. Many bike rental shops are within one block of the hotel, so seeing the other locations (the arch, mission point, etc.) is also very doable.
Great hotel, we booked late and still got a great rate. Booked a two queen bed with a lake view, and we got a free upgrade to a turret. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and the bellhop was very friendly as well. Overall, a 10/10, will be the first place I look into when coming back to the island.
We stayed in room 240 pool view. Room spacious, beds and pillows so comfortable. Staff knowledgeable, friendly. Pool was fun. Rocking chairs on porch relaxing with good people watching. Great location. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!
Beautiful, clean hotel steps from the ferry. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Luggage was carefully stored until our ferry arrived. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Hotel has a lovely front porch with seating and a classy main floor lounge where we enjoyed snacks and played board games as a family. We all enjoyed the pool.
A beautiful location with great hospitality and quality room. The indoor pool was clean but too cold to swim so we enjoyed the hot tub. Our corner room room was clean and very comfortable with a large bathroom. We were there the week after Labor Day.
We stayed at the Lake View Hotel on September 6, 2025. Hotel service is amazing, they picked up our bags at Shepler's Ferry and took them to the hotel. The hotel is near the ferry. We had a Deluxe Lake View room and the room did not disapoint. The lake views were great and accommodations modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly, efficient, accommodating, and professional. The indoor pool was nice. Great location on the island, near many shops and restuarants. We recommend the Lake View and we would happily stay there again.
We had an absolute dream stay at the Lakeview Hotel. The front desk staff, Will, was absolutely the best ever! He was so helpful and gave us lots of information about the island. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and a huge thank you to Byron for bringing our bags to our room - such a thoughtful touch! We absolutely loved the pool and hot tub, they were perfect, and the views from our room were simply amazing! The room itself was super clean and beautiful. We loved every aspect of our stay and can't wait to come back again. If you're looking for a hotel that truly cares about its guests, look no further! We'll definitely be back!
This hotel deserves 5 stars. The location is perfect, right downtown and close to the ferry dock. It was perfectly clean, the decor was beautiful and the pool in the center of the hotel was uniquely cool. Service was great, our bags were taken from the ferry and brought up to our room, and front desk was very helpful and organized from checking us in to giving us suggestions on where to visit on the island. 100% would stay there again!
